History in the making for St James the Less...

For an incredible tenth year, the winner of the Rossendale Sportshall Athletics competition, and representing the borough, is St James the Less RC Primary School.

Mrs K and pupils in Years 5 and 6 have been training and working hard since October and once again that hard work has paid off (for the tenth year!).

A delighted Mrs K said: “Thank you so much to all the amazing children, both past and present, who, for over the last 10 years have given their best and demonstrated their determination to succeed, which has helped St James the Less maintain this fantastic achievement.

A massive thank you to every parent that has helped transport, walk, support and cheer as well as Mrs Duffy and our School Games Organiser Nathan, without you all none of this could happen.

Well done to all - we will now represent Rossendale in the Lancashire final in the New Year.
