Anchor of Hope

The Anchor of Hope is currently on a Pilgrimage around all 37 schools in the Salford Diocese.  This has been presented to us by Bishop John Arnold to commemorate the ‘Jubilee Year 2025’.  The theme of this Year of Mercy is, ‘Pilgrims of Hope’.   

All schools get to host the anchor and proudly display it in school.  All Saints' RC High School joined us for a Prayer Service led by Mrs Bell-Shaw to welcome the Anchor to Saint James the Less.  Mrs Langan, Mrs Ronnan (Vice-Chair of Governors) and our GIFT Chaplains were warmly welcomed by our friends at St Peter's Primary School, where we gathered to exchange the anchor.
